Well, my friend went home today. She's been having a hard time coping with school and medication and all the things racing through her mind, and also the lack of sleep. Her doctor prescribed her some sleep medicine, but it knocks her out for twelve hours. With that, how the hell is she going to do any homework?!
She's got a lot of stress, and today she had a test for one of her classes, which she didn't go to. She'll have a note for the Dean from the doctor stating her medical condition and the fact that it's making it very difficult for her to get through each day.
I hope she gets better. I hate seeing her all whacked out and I can't do anything to help her. Sure, I can be there for her, but that's all I can do. It frustrates me not being able to do more for her. I guess I just don't understand her situation.
Well, I found out today that I won't be able to do the Alternative to flute lessons. It's either do the flute lessons, or take the failing grade. Just so you people know (are there actual people reading here or what?), I'll probably take the failing grade. I have a hard enough time getting through my other classes, hell I have a hard time WAKING UP for my classes, having to worry about flute lessons is a bit much. She's right, though. I think it's because I'm too hard on myself. Until I can get out of that set, I won't get anywhere in flute.
Three days and counting.... shoot me.
There's this Pakistani guy in my Vampires in Literature class that loves to talk and is a very friendly person and I listened to some of what he was saying to our teacher after class.... the words he said about how he views God were almost the exact words in the Tenrikyo doctrine. It was so weird... so I asked him if he'd like to read some of the books I have, and he said he would. Very cool. I did some Nioigake.
Well, call me crazy, but I'm going to head to Blockbuster and rent a couple movies. I have this 2 for 1 coupon that expires today, so I have to use it now. I'll try to find those five-day rentals so I'll be able to get some movies that my friend and I can watch while he's here.
I just hope I don't rent something he finds unbearable...
