I'm not really sure why I'm writing a diary entry tonight. I can't think of anything to write about. My day was boring as ever.
Woke up at about 8am, took a shower and ate a quick breakfast, which consisted of tofu soup (didn't want to upset my stomach again, so I stayed away from any oily/greasy/fatty foods). Then I left for work. I worked from 9am to 6:15pm (did a little bit of overtime... stupid Christmas season). My lunch was Korean-style vegetables, and after I ate I went to Old Navy to look at these silver skirts. My friend AlwaysLolita has a friend who's getting married in February, and I was invited to it. That means I need to find something to wear. AlwaysLolita picked up a maroon/burgundy silk crossover-wrap shirt (I have no idea how to explain it) and so I went to see if there was a silver skirt that might match.
After work, I went to the other Old Navy, which is about five minutes away, to see if there'd be anything else I like. Some Old Navy stores will have more of a selection, even though it's a big corporation store that's nationwide... you would think that each store had the same kinds of things. Anyway, I ended up buying a $10 long sleeve shirt. I proceeded to Longs Drugs Store to pick up some reprints and enlargements of pictures I took in Louisiana. My mom wanted to send my concert picture to family... 'cuz I never sent out my Senior Portrait to family. You know why? My mom didn't order enough pictures to send out. Anyways...
I ate my Zippy's chilli for dinner tonight, and I also got to eat some sushi! Some family friends came to visit and they brought a sushi platter with them. Yum.
Well, that was my day, basically. Boring, eh? Ahh, that's my life. Boring.
According to my calculations, my paycheck for these two weeks of work, approximately 62.5 hours, will come out to about $390 or so. It'd be $453 before taxes, and I'm just estimating how much the government will take from me. Hmm. If I can get another 40 hours on my next paycheck, that'll be about $225. This looks to be good for my next semester. I want to visit Precious with my free ticket that I won from the School Food Drive. He seems to not want me to visit though.... keeps on trying to find weird places for me to go to. Like Maine. What the?! I'm already having problems with the temperature being below 40 and he's telling me to go to Maine? Ahhh... he wants me to DIE or something... heh. Then he said I should go to Washington. Uhhh... okay.
Back to my original topic, I want to visit Precious with my free ticket. Free ticket doesn't mean free ground transportation around Texas, nor does it count meals. No matter if I go to visit him or if I visit President Bush.... I'd still need money for food and transportation. At least for food. Yeah.
I also would like for Precious to visit me during Spring Break. That's another reason I would like to get into the on-campus apartments. If I get that, he wouldn't have to worry about getting a hotel when he visits. If he does come to visit, I'll also be renting a car again. This time, I'm hoping to have my own car insurance, so I won't have to pay for their insurance. It sucked having to pay for their insurance the last time...
I'm scraping the bottom of the pot for topics to write on.... so I'll be taking out my eyes soon and going to bed.
