Life gets so complicated and tiresome every once in a while, if not always. I had to work the closing shift on Friday night, meaning get out past 12:30am, then wake up and go to work at 8am on Saturday. It didn't help me at all that I went to the bar and grill my coworkers and I go to after work (it was one of my coworker's birthday). I was able to get to work on time, and was nearly awake for the morning. I was a lot more awake toward the end of the day, but that doesn't mean I wasn't extremely tired. After work, I met with AlwaysLolita for some window shopping, and then dinner. Later, we bumped into each other at Wallyworld, after I had picked up my mom. I am so exhausted and a bit achy from being on my feet too much, and I have to wake up early for church tomorrow, AND go straight to work. Ready for what I top it all off with? Monday starts the new fiscal month, which means the café inventory is due. What does this mean? It means I get to go into work from 6am on Monday. Yippee. Well, the good thing about that is getting off from work at 2pm. That'll be nice.
I slept at the apartment last night (Friday night-Saturday morning, in order to get to work early), for the first time. It's so empty. I felt pretty alone when I got up. Oh, I also found out it's very hot, even with an oscillating fan on. I think I'm leaning toward investing in an air conditioner.
I've got a LOT of my things moved to the apartment. Well, a lot of what I wanted to move to the apartment. There is still a great deal of crap in my room at the house, simply because I have TOO MUCH CRAP to fit into that small of an apartment. I'm of a family of packrats, so I have way more things than I need. I need to move this computer, but not before I get an ISP.... I signed up for DSL with Verizon, so my phone line will be up and running starting Monday. The DSL materials come in the mail, so it won't be here until the end of the week. I'm hoping I can access the 'net via MSN 8, which supposedly comes with the DSL package.
Okay, I'm starting to fall alseep at the keyboard, so it's time to get going. Thanks for reading.
